About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie in the municipality of Murazzano at 700 m, with a southern exposure. The vines are Guyot trained. The soil contains less than 20% clay and a comparatively high proportion of sand.
Grapes
Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Vinification
The grapes undergo soft pneumatic pressing. Fermentation takes place in tanks for four weeks at 18 °C. The wine is bottled for the prise de mousse within six months of harvest, initiating the second fermentation in bottle.
Ageing
The wine matures on its lees in bottle for approximately 30–40 months before release.
Serving and pairing
Suitable for raw fish dishes, appetizers and charcuterie boards.
