About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyard lies in Ravera, in the municipality of Novello, at 350 m with a south-east exposure. Ravera forms a natural amphitheatre with strong access to sunlight. Its mineral-rich Lequio Formation soil dates from 11–12 million years ago and consists of approximately 50% silt, with the remainder divided between sand and clay; active lime is abundant.
Grapes
100% Nebbiolo.
Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures in wooden barrels and porcelain eggs.
Tasting profile
Ravera produces a structured, full-bodied and harmonious Barolo with elegant tannins. Its aromatic profile combines ripe fruit, spices and flowers, retaining balance across the palate.
Serving and pairing
Its substantial structure suits red-meat main courses and game. It can also accompany cheeses.
