About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The hillside vineyards lie at L’albereto in Subbiano, on the eastern bank of the Arno, approximately halfway between Arezzo and Bibbiena. The estate’s fertile soils range from medium-textured to compact and contain dark clay and shells. Cold winters and summers with pronounced day-to-night temperature changes characterize the Casentino setting.
Grapes
90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo.
Vinification
A second fermentation, conducted with the addition of previously pressed grapes, is used to develop freshness and liveliness.
Technical data
Chianti DOCG. Alcohol: 13% vol. Harvest takes place in the second half of October.
Tasting profile
Freshness and vivacity define the palate, together with an approachable, pleasurable character.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 18–20°C.
