About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The hillside vineyards lie at L’albereto in Subbiano, on the eastern bank of the Arno, approximately halfway between Arezzo and Bibbiena. The estate’s fertile soils range from medium-textured to compact and contain dark clay and shells. Cold winters and summers with pronounced day-to-night temperature changes characterize the Casentino setting.

Grapes

90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo.

Vinification

A second fermentation, conducted with the addition of previously pressed grapes, is used to develop freshness and liveliness.

Technical data

Chianti DOCG. Alcohol: 13% vol. Harvest takes place in the second half of October.

Tasting profile

Freshness and vivacity define the palate, together with an approachable, pleasurable character.
