About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the “Riccinnebbia” vineyard in Langhe.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness and destemmed at the winery. They undergo three days of cold maceration in temperature-controlled tanks. Alcoholic fermentation lasts 5–10 days, followed by extended maceration to extract additional phenolic compounds and aromas. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures for 10–16 months in wooden barrels of various sizes.
