About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The 0.5 ha Rocche dell'Annunziata plot lies at 190–371 m above sea level. Its Nebbiolo vines were planted in 1973.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested as late as possible, quickly taken to the winery, sorted and pressed. The must remains in contact with the skins for approximately 350 hours under strict temperature control.

Ageing

The wine ages in oak barrels.

Tasting profile

Remarkably intense.
