About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Sauvignon is grown in the municipalities of Mango and Treiso. The south-facing vineyards cover 2 ha at an altitude of 400 m, and the vines average 30 years of age. Calcareous marl rich in calcium carbonate underpins the wine’s pronounced mineral character.

Grapes

Sauvignon.

Vinification

Alcoholic fermentation takes place in second-use French oak barrels.

Ageing

The principal profile specifies approximately 18 months of maturation after fermentation and about six months in bottle. For the 2022 vintage, the technical sheet records 20 months in used French oak barrels followed by approximately four months in bottle.

Technical data

The 2022 wine has 12.5% alcohol by volume and total acidity of 6.2 g/L. Available formats are 750 ml and Magnum. Average production is 6,000 bottles. A special 1 L format is also offered through the One Liter Club.

Tasting profile

The broader house profile combines grapefruit and tomato-leaf aromas with flinty notes. The palate is firm yet fresh, marked by minerality and inviting acidity. The 2022 vintage is straw yellow, with quince, toasted hazelnut and a subtle flinty accent on the nose. It is fresh and balanced in the mouth, showing white peach, Mediterranean herbs and a mineral touch before a clean, persistent finish.

Serve at 10–13 °C in a Burgundy glass.
