About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Lamberti’s 27 hectares of vineyards lie in the heart of the Bardolino area, a few kilometres from the eastern shore of Lake Garda. The site has a favourable climate and soils suited to viticulture. Rose bushes are planted at the beginning of each vineyard row.
Grapes
The wine uses a selection of fully ripe grapes, including Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara alongside other varieties permitted by regional regulations.
Vinification
Seventy per cent of the grapes are vinified in the traditional rosé manner, with brief contact between juice and skins. The remaining 30% are vinified as for a white wine, without skin contact. The two lots ferment separately to balance aroma and flavour.
Label / history
Lamberti was founded in 1964 in Lazise, Veneto, on the shores of Lake Garda, and is part of Gruppo Italiano Vini (GIV). The winery takes its name from the ancestral estate of the Lamberti family, one of the area’s oldest families.
