About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards cover 27 hectares in the heart of Bardolino, a few kilometres from the eastern shore of Lake Garda and at the foot of the Alps. Cool temperatures and bright sunshine allow the grapes to reach full phenolic ripeness while retaining lively acidity. Rose bushes are planted at the beginning of every vineyard row.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks using traditional methods.
Ageing
The wine rests in steel tanks for six months and is bottled in March.
Tasting profile
Corvina contributes structure, richness and cherry notes, while Rondinella brings a distinctive fresh herbal aroma.
Label / history
Lamberti was founded in Lazise in 1964 and is now part of Gruppo Italiano Vini (GIV). The winery takes its name from the ancestral estate of the Lamberti family, one of the oldest families in the area.
