About this wine
Vinification
The grapes are vinified traditionally. Fermentation is temperature-controlled and takes place in stainless steel tanks, to extract the maximum aroma, colour and tannins.
Ageing
In line with Barbaresco DOCG requirements, the wine is aged for at least two years, including a period in oak barrels. The oak softens the tannins and gives a more complex aromatic profile, with floral and spicy notes gradually joining the fruit. The structure becomes more harmonious and balanced.
Tasting profile
Elegant, with Nebbiolo's classic character expressed as a balance of strength and finesse. The nose opens with red berries and violet, then gradually develops deeper, lightly spiced nuances. The style favours complexity and an evolving character over bold power.
Serving and pairing
Pairs with meat or aged cheeses.
