About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on limestone soils rich in quartz sand and grey sandstone.
Vinification
Fully ripe grapes are harvested by hand in two passes at the beginning of September and placed in 25 kg crates. They are then cooled to 6 °C to preserve their aromas. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place in new oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine undergoes regular bâtonnage in barrel for nine months. After bottling, it matures for one year in the winery’s cellars.
Tasting profile
The aroma is appealing. The palate is expressive yet fresh and refined, with harmonious balance and an elegant character.
