About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The wine is made at the historic Serego Alighieri estate, which comprises 130 ha of gentle hills in the Valpolicella area. Grapes, fruit trees and olive trees are grown on its fertile land.
Grapes
The blend includes a special clone of Molinara.
Ageing
The wine matures in cherry-wood barrels. The recommended drinking window for the 2014 vintage was 2020–2030.

Label / history
The Serego Alighieri estate has belonged to descendants of Dante Alighieri since 1353 and is now represented by the family’s twentieth generation. In 2003, the family marked 650 years of continuous presence in Valpolicella Classica by creating the limited-production Anniversario wine; its name means “anniversary” in Italian. Masi has worked with the estate for almost 40 years.
