About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown on the hills of Asti, in a UNESCO-recognized area. Cuvage's 200 ha of vineyards have clay, carbonate, marl and white limestone soils. Integrated pest management is practised, and bunches are selected for the company's sparkling wines.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes undergo a slow fermentation at a controlled temperature of 13–14 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for at least 24 months.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif.
Label / history
Cuvage was founded in 2011 in Acqui Terme, in the province of Alessandria. Its name combines “Cuvée” and “Perlage.”
