About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Natale Verga’s vineyards in Abruzzo, on hills at approximately 200 m above sea level. The soils are predominantly clay and limestone.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified by a traditional red-wine method. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature to preserve the fruit-forward character.
Tasting profile
Rich and fruit-forward, with well-integrated acidity and tannins that are not overly aggressive.
Serving and pairing
Pairs with roast meat, pork, game, grilled meat, pasta with meat sauce and cheese.
