About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit grows in Campania, particularly around the town of Tufo, in mineral-rich volcanic tuff soils. These soils are especially suited to the variety and contribute a distinctive savoury character.
Grapes
The variety was brought to the Tyrrhenian coast by the ancient Greeks.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, transported to the winery in small crates and pressed as whole bunches before fermentation.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless-steel tanks for six months after fermentation.
Tasting profile
Fresh and fruity, with a distinctive savoury character.
