About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo comes from 40–50-year-old vines in the Starderi vineyard in the commune of Neive. Compared with Roncagliette, its soils are slightly softer and the site is less exposed to wind; it tends to produce aromatic wines that can open while still young.
Vinification
The wine undergoes maceration for around two months and spontaneous fermentation in concrete vats. It is bottled without filtration.
Ageing
It matures in old oak botti.
Tasting profile
Elegant, open and expressive, with bright youthful fruit and ample structure.

The 2022 growing season was warm.
