About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the estate's best biodynamic vineyard, in the municipality of Monteveglio.
Vinification
The grapes are picked entirely by hand, only when fully ripe, and placed in small crates. Fermentation starts naturally in large Allier oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine matures for 9 months on its lees in the large Allier oak barrels, with regular bâtonnage. It is bottled without fining or filtration.
Tasting profile
An intense, fresh natural white.
Label / history
The 2019 vintage turned out very different from usual, so the winemakers named the wine "Rancid."
