About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Pignoletto grapes grow in an estate biodynamic vineyard in the municipality of Monteveglio.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand at full ripeness and placed in small crates. Fermentation starts spontaneously in large Allier oak barrels. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration.
Ageing
The wine matures on its lees for nine months in the same large Allier oak barrels, with regular bâtonnage, followed by at least six months in bottle before release.
Tasting profile
Soft and medium-bodied, with an intense, fresh character.
