About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Barbera is grown in the biodynamically farmed “Sole” vineyard in the municipality of Monteveglio.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at full ripeness in the first half of September. They undergo 3–4 weeks of maceration and spontaneous fermentation in large Slavonian oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine matures for 9–12 months in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by 9 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Fresh and easy-drinking, with vibrant notes of ripe red fruit on both the nose and palate.
