About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Barbera grows in the biodynamic "Sole" vineyard in the municipality of Monteveglio. The vines average 20 years of age.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at full ripeness in the first half of September. They macerate for 3–4 weeks and ferment spontaneously in large Slavonian oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by 9 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Fresh and easy-drinking, with bright notes of ripe red fruit and berries on both nose and palate.
