About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines average 20 years of age and grow on clay-limestone soils in the "Sole" and "Bellavista" vineyards in Monteveglio.
Grapes
Barbera and Negretto in equal parts.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness in late August. The wine macerates for one month and ferments spontaneously in Slavonian oak barrels.
Ageing
12 months in old oak barrels of various sizes, followed by 9 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Elegant, vibrant and well-balanced.
