About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie on relatively infertile clay and limestone soils. The area's bowl-shaped landscape shelters the vines from sudden changes in temperature and weather.
Vinification
The Nebbiolo grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in conical stainless-steel vats.
Ageing
The wine matures for 24 months, with 60% aged in large 3,000 L Slovenian oak barrels and 40% in 350 L French oak tonneaux.
