About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the communes of Treiso, Neive and Barbaresco. They come mainly from young vines no more than 15 years old and were not selected for the estate’s Barbaresco.
Vinification
A short maceration at a controlled temperature preserves the fruit’s youthful freshness.
Ageing
One-third of the wine matures in small oak barrels, while the remainder rests in large 50-hectolitre casks. Ageing comprises approximately 12 months in barrel followed by two months in bottle.

Label / history
The Pelissero family has grown vines in the heart of Barbaresco for several generations. Luigi Pelissero founded the company and began bottling and selling wine under the family name and Pelissero logo in the 1960s. His son Giorgio, an oenologist, now runs the winery. The estate covers 38 hectares, and the winery stands on a hilltop in the Treiso area.
