About this wine
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva carries the Black / Golden label. It was developed through dedicated research to achieve greater structure than the estate’s Brunello di Montalcino Annata.
Ageing
Ten additional months in oak barrels give the Riserva greater balance and encourage the development of more complex flavours, aromas, and tertiary notes. The extended maturation also increases its ageing potential.
Tasting profile
A more structured expression than Brunello di Montalcino Annata, with greater balance, complex flavours and aromas, and tertiary fragrances that emerge through the longer period in oak.
