About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from 20-year-old vines at Castelluccio in the Romagna Apennines, between Faenza and Forlì. The estate’s well-exposed vineyards grow on marl soils. The wine’s character is presented as an expression of this setting.
Grapes
100% Sauvignon Blanc.
Technical data
The 2009 vintage has 12.5% alcohol and a production of 10,000 bottles.
Tasting profile
Straw yellow with golden reflections. The restrained bouquet offers delicate floral and herbaceous notes. On the palate it is broad and almost rich in texture, with good structure, acidity and persistence.
Serving and pairing
Its breadth and structure allow it to accompany richly flavoured dishes.
