The fruit comes from 20–30-year-old vines at Castelluccio in the Romagna Apennines, between Faenza and Forlì. The estate’s well-exposed vineyards grow on marl soils.

100% Sangiovese.

The wine rests for 12 months in 350 L barrels.

The 2006 vintage has 13% alcohol and a production of 20,000 bottles.
Tasting profile
Ruby red with orange reflections. The aromatic profile is broad, led by a distinctive spicy character that accompanies notes of cherry. The palate is expansive and balanced, with harmonious tannins and acidity.
