About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from estate vineyards at elevations ranging from 150 to 450 metres. The vines are trained to cordon spur, and harvesting is carried out by hand.
Grapes
A blend of Vermentino and Chardonnay. Vermentino contributes freshness and mineral character, while Chardonnay adds structure.
Vinification
The must remains in contact with the skins for 24 hours. Fermentation then proceeds for 25 days at 12 °C, followed by partial malolactic fermentation.
Tasting profile
Straw yellow. Fresh-fruit and citrus aromas are joined by mineral notes. On the palate, Vermentino's freshness balances the structure supplied by Chardonnay.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif and with fish, vegetables and fresh cheeses.
