About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Sangiovese comes from vineyards planted between 150 and 450 metres above sea level. The vines are trained to cordon spur, and the grapes are picked by hand.

Grapes

100% Sangiovese.

Vinification

The must remains in contact with the skins for 24 hours. Fermentation then continues for 25 days at 12 °C.

Technical data

The 2025 vintage has 12% alcohol.

Tasting profile

Rose-coloured, with floral aromas, red fruit—particularly strawberry and raspberry—and spice. The palate combines body and freshness, retaining the lively character of young Sangiovese.

Serving and pairing

Suitable as an aperitif and with seafood, vegetables and soft cheeses.

Label / history

The name comes from an 1888 painting titled Lo Sbrancato, displayed in the estate's tasting room.
