About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Sangiovese comes from the Florentine hills around Fiesole in Tuscany. The lean soils contain Galestro and limestone. Vines are trained using low-spurred cordon and Guyot systems and farmed organically. ICEA certification confirms compliance with EU organic regulations CE 834/07 and CE 889/08.
Grapes
100% Sangiovese. The fruit is harvested at a stage intended to preserve fresh, fruity aromas and lively acidity.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-picked in late August and carefully selected. Handling is designed to preserve berry integrity and prevent oxidation or unwanted fermentation. The fruit is immediately soft-pressed to retain freshness and primary grape aromas, then fermented in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperature.
Ageing
Refined in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Light pink. Pronounced red-berry aromas evoke cranberry and pomegranate. The palate combines lively acidity with fruity nuances, while retaining the structure of Sangiovese in a fresh, approachable rosé style.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 12–14 °C. Suitable as an aperitif and with raw, oven-cooked or fried fish, as well as white meat. Intended to be enjoyed young and ready to drink.
