About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo grows in the “Gaia Principe” vineyard near the village of Neive.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, carefully sorted and gently pressed. The must undergoes a 10-day cold maceration before fermentation.
Ageing
The wine rests for two months in steel tanks, followed by 14–15 months in French oak barriques and a further six months in stainless steel tanks. After bottling, it remains in the winery’s cellars for around six months.
