About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the “La Morra” vineyard. The estate follows organic practices and uses only natural fertilisers. Careful vine selection and bunch thinning leave half of the grape bunches on the vines. In favourable, warm years, each vine yields enough fruit for one bottle; in rainy years, several vines are needed for one bottle.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and gently pressed at the winery. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures in French oak barrels for 16–18 months.
