About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

Organically grown Nebbiolo is sourced from the 11 municipalities of the Barolo district. Organic methods guide the work in the vineyard, while traditional cellar practices are used to retain the fruit’s character through vinification.

Grapes

100% organically grown Nebbiolo.

Vinification

Cellar operations follow traditional practices, complementing the organic methods used in the vineyard.

Ageing

The wine is aged for 38 months, including 18 months in Slavonian oak casks, and subsequently matures in bottle.

Tasting profile

Dense ruby red in colour. Intense aromas of morello cherry and wild rose are softened by gentle spices ranging from sweet to balsamic. The palate is rounded, richly textured and elegant.

Serving and pairing

Pair with first courses dressed with game ragù, braised meats or mature cheeses. Cellaring potential is 10 years.

Label / history

The wine was conceived as an expression of balance between human activity and nature, combining organic vineyard practices with traditional winemaking.
