About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the 5 ha organic “Baccareto” vineyard in the Galgano area of Mercato Saraceno, in the province of Forlì-Cesena. The site lies at approximately 250 m above sea level on clay-limestone soils and has a planting density of 6,300 vines per hectare. Its climate benefits from a constant exchange of air currents from the Adriatic and the Alps.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in late September and undergo two selections: one in the vineyard and another at the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks for 10 days, followed by 10 days of post-fermentation maceration.
Ageing
The wine ages and undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks. It is lightly filtered and bottled in late February or early March.

Annual production is approximately 20,000 bottles.
