About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from Gioè, the upper part of the Monte Gradella area. The vineyards have distinctive soils and receive abundant sunshine; grapes are selected from the sunniest, most open sites.

Vinification

Grapes destined for Amarone are dried for 120 days, during which they lose 30% of their water, concentrating the sugar in the resulting juice.

Ageing

The winery’s red wines mature slowly in oak barrels in centuries-old vaulted cellars.

Tasting profile

Rich and juicy yet elegant, with smooth tannins, balanced acidity and a long finish.

Label / history

Only 16 vintages had been produced at the time of the source.
