About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Carignano comes from own-rooted vineyards trained as bush vines on sandy soil. The Terrae range focuses on individual sites and selected parcels whose distinct soils shape the wines.
Grapes
Carignano.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand into small crates between the final ten days of August and early September. They enter an inerted soft press; after brief skin contact, the free-run must is separated from the skins and vinified as a white wine.
Ageing
The wine spends six months on its fine lees.
Tasting profile
Pale pink. The delicate, pure and precise nose combines red-fruit notes with the mineral character of the territory. The palate is fresh, elegant and highly approachable, with a long, silky finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10–12 °C. Pair with oysters, raw fish, caviar, bluefin tuna tartare or wood pigeon.
