About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Carignano fruit is grown on the island of Sardinia.
Vinification
After harvest, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for around 10 days.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless steel for several months before bottling, followed by a further three months in bottle before release.
Label / history
The name pays tribute to the Nuragic culture, whose people lived in Sardinia before the Roman conquest. The label depicts a bronze figurine of a Nuragic warrior found on the island of Sant'Antioco.
The wine won a Bronze Medal at the 2017 Decanter World Wine Awards and a Silver Medal at the 2016 Decanter Asia Wine Awards. Berebene Gambero Rosso also named the 2016 vintage a “Best Value.”
