About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Nebbiolo comes from the Cannubi, Sarmassa, Coste di Rose, Preda and Ravera cru vineyards in the commune of Barolo.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo three selections: the best bunches are chosen in the vineyard, the fruit is checked on arrival at the winery, and the winemaker makes a final inspection before crushing. Fermentation and maceration take place in large steel tanks at a controlled temperature.

Ageing

The wine ages for 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels. After bottling, it matures for at least a further 20 months in the winery’s cellars at 14–16 °C.

Tasting profile

Complex and elegant.
