About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Pinot Grigio from selected vineyards in the Val d’Adige, rooted in medium-heavy soils containing gravel and sand. Yield is 56 hl/ha.
Grapes
Pinot Grigio, also identified by its German name Ruländer.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks and, for part of the must, in large oak casks at a constant 18°C. The wine page gives an approximate fermentation period of 14 days. The two lots remain separate during maturation and are blended before bottling.
Ageing
The stainless-steel and oak-fermented wines mature separately on their fine lees. Published 2025 information gives two different maturation periods: the technical sheet specifies 10 months with regular lees stirring, while the wine page specifies 6 months. The final blend rests briefly before bottling.
