About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyard lies near the village of St. Pauls at 300–350 m above sea level. Its moraine soils contain deep deposits of silt and sand.
Grapes
Lagrein is widely grown in South Tyrol. The wine uses carefully selected fruit harvested at optimal ripeness.
Vinification
After a brief skin maceration, the must ferments in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 °C. Malolactic fermentation is prevented.
Ageing
The wine matures on its lees in small oak barrels for five months.

Juicy fruit aromas continue onto the palate.

“Kretzer” is a tasting term used in Trentino-Alto Adige for rosé wines.
