About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the Plotzner vineyard, at 500–700 m above sea level. Deep limestone soils and a local climate marked by sharp differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures encourage the development of aromas and flavours.
Vinification
The must ferments slowly at a controlled temperature in large oak barrels. Part of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine rests on its fine lees for 5–7 months.
