Vintage notes
The 2024 winter was generally regular, apart from several unusually cold days for the Tuscan coast. A warm start to spring was followed by cooler, wetter-than-normal conditions. The rain replenished the vines’ water reserves before a characteristically hot, dry, windy and intensely bright Mediterranean summer. The vines remained vigorous thanks to abundant underground water, while mostly fine September weather was punctuated by occasional rain. The resulting wine was light yellow, with ripe nectarine, mango, buttercup, lemon-peel and iodine notes, plus pronounced freshness and savouriness.
