About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from estate production parcels across the Bolgheri area. Sandy-clay soils and mainly low-spurred-cordon training underpin the blend.

Grapes

Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Exact proportions are not specified.

Vinification

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, with maceration lasting approximately four weeks.

Technical data

Alcohol is 14.5%. Cellaring potential is up to 10 years.

Tasting profile

The 2024 vintage is bright purple-red. Its aromatic profile combines floral notes, red fruit, aromatic herbs, milk chocolate and vanilla. The palate is crisp, with flowing, silky tannins that remain smooth rather than angular. The wine’s softness gives it broad versatility at the table.

Label / history

First produced in 2003, Campo al Mare Rosso reflects Bolgheri’s established affinity with international red varieties.
