About this wine
Vinification
Barolo Chinato is a flavored wine made from the estate’s own Barolo DOCG. Officinal herbs are infused into the wine, with their active substances extracted through maceration at room temperature. The infusion includes cinchona bark, rhubarb root, gentian root and cardamom seeds, together with smaller quantities of spices such as cinnamon and cloves.

Alcohol: 16% vol.
Tasting profile
Garnet red with orange nuances. The nose is round, harmonious and well balanced. The palate is soft and aromatic, leading to an intense, persistent finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 18–20°C as a classic after-dinner digestive or alongside chocolate desserts. It can alternatively be served as an aperitif over ice with soda.
