About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from southeast-facing vineyards in Kurtatsch, at 210–350 m above sea level. The vines average 20 years of age and are planted at a density of 3,500–7,000 vines per hectare in chalky, sandy soils with gravel.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place at 20–21 °C, with 90% of the must fermented in stainless-steel tanks and 10% in barriques.
Ageing
The wine rests for almost six months: 20% in large oak casks, 70% in stainless-steel tanks and 10% in small oak barrels.
