About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyard lies near Kurtatsch at 250–400 metres above sea level. The approximately 20-year-old vines are planted at a density of 2,500–7,000 vines per hectare in chalky, gravelly soils interspersed with glacial deposits.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes undergo intensive maceration, followed by fermentation at a low, carefully controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for four months in stainless-steel tanks.
