About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vineyards near Lake Garda in the Bardolino area.
Grapes
The blend is Corvina, Molinara, Rondinella and Rossara; the text describes Rossara as a variety of Molinara.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand during the first ten days of October. They are gently pressed, then macerated and fermented at a controlled 22–26 °C for 6–10 days.
Ageing
The must is kept in wooden barrels for around 3–4 months, until it reaches the required sugar level.
Label / history
The wine belongs to the Tenuta Valleselle line. Villa Tenuta Valleselle is a country house in the hills around Lake Garda, close to Bardolino. It is surrounded by 12 hectares of vineyards and olive groves owned by the Tinazzi company. The family bought the estate in 1986 and restored it, and it became a place for welcoming guests. Visitors can taste wines from the cellar, explore the vineyards and hold celebrations there.
