About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in a vineyard near the commune of Ghemme. Chemical use in the vineyard is kept to a minimum.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of September and transported to the winery in boxes to preserve their integrity. After gentle pressing, the must undergoes maceration before alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures.
Ageing
The wine matures for 10 months in stainless-steel tanks, followed by one month in bottle.
