About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The organically farmed fruit comes from Torano Nuovo. The vineyards lie at 290 m, with south and southeast exposures, and have predominantly loamy soils. The vines are 30 years old, planted at a density of 1,000 vines/ha, and produce low yields.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-harvested between the first and second ten-day periods of October. They undergo 6–7 hours of low-temperature skin maceration, and the entire vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
