About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie in the historic Castelli di Jesi area of Marche, at 100 metres above sea level. The grapes are grown mainly on sandy soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested early in the morning in mid-October and placed in small crates. These are held in refrigerated rooms before transport to the winery. After gentle pressing, the material is cooled to 5 °C in tanks for static settling. Vinification takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly in stainless-steel tanks before bottling.
