About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie in the central part of the historic Roero area, in the commune of Santo Stefano. The vines are more than 25 years old.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the second half of September and pressed. The must is clarified, then fermented in closed steel tanks at 12–14 °C to preserve freshness.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly in temperature-controlled steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Light and refreshing, with a fresh character.
Label / history
The label, titled “Spirit of the Forest,” depicts a sunlit woodland clearing and evokes the scents of wild berries and leaves. It represents Croatian artist Jan Lakovich’s interpretation of the character of Roero Arneis.
