About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the hills of Monferrato, in a vineyard at 350–400 metres above sea level with south-west exposure. The soils are clay and limestone. Planting density is 4,500 vines per hectare, with yields of 8 tonnes per hectare. The vines are Guyot-trained.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in September. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks for two weeks at a controlled temperature of 18 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Youthful, fresh and easy-drinking, with fruity and spicy notes.
Label / history
First released in 2006, the wine is now produced in an annual quantity of approximately 30,000 bottles.
